Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
